Data to Action

Finding, Understanding and Communicating
Data for Community Work

  • Format: Self-paced
  • Level: Foundational
  • Micro-Courses: 3
  • Time: 45-60 minutes
  • Certificate upon completion (continuing education credits are not provided at this time)
Understanding your community starts with asking the right questions and knowing where to look for answers. Data to Action is a three-part microlearning toolkit that helps you identify, interpret and communicate data, and navigate the conversations that turn data into community-driven action.

Each part is short enough to fit into a busy day and practical enough to use right away, whether you are planning a community event, making the case for local resources or just trying to understand what the numbers say about your community.
Is This Course For You?

  • You've collected data before but are not confident in interpreting what it actually shows.
  • You want practical tools that you can apply the same day you learn them, without a long-term time commitment.
